Frequently asked questions

How will I be able to remotely attend the training course?

Once your registration complete, you will receive an email containing a link to the Web platform Via by SVI E-Solutions. By clicking on the link, you will automatically be redirected to our online training room. This email might end up in your spam mail folder, so please keep an eye for the following address so as to not miss it: via@SVIeSolutions.com.

On training day, you will have direct access to our premises and will be able to see and hear the trainer. A PowerPoint document will also be available on the platform and we will communicate by chat.

Do I have to configure my computer to take part in a training course?

You won’t have to configure a microphone or a video camera for our webcasts. Communications with the trainer are done by chat, directly on the Via platform. However, please consider updating the Adobe Flash Player software so as to be able to adequately follow the course.

What kind of Internet connection do I need to take part in the online course?

We strongly recommend you use a wired connection instead of a wireless connection (Wi-Fi). For an optimal experience, please shut down all applications like Skype before logging into the platform and keep to a minimum the data downloads and Web browsing during the course.

I would like to test my connection, is it possible?

Of course, please contact us at (418) 649-6116, extension 264, to test your connection before training day.

I wish to take my training course online but there are no more seats available; what do I do?

Please note that we limit the number of online participants so as to maximize the experience of the webcast for all participants. Priority is given to participants in remote areas and individuals with reduced mobility. If you reside in Quebec City, we recommend you attend the course in person so as to ensure the greatest number of seats available for those unable to travel.
